Vice President for Finance and Administration
Eric Nelson serves as vice president for finance and administration at Holy Family University, a role he has held since May 2019. He brings more than 40 years of experience in higher education and commercial banking finance.
Prior to joining Holy Family, Nelson held senior leadership roles at Arcadia University, Misericordia University, and Wesley College, where he was responsible for overseeing financial operations, budgeting, capital projects, and long-term planning. He has also played key roles in institutional capital campaigns and served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.
At Holy Family, Nelson oversees the University’s financial strategy, administrative operations, and resource planning. He works closely with senior leadership to ensure fiscal responsibility, operational efficiency, and alignment with the institution’s mission and strategic priorities.
Nelson holds a Master of Business Administration from Baker College in Flint, Michigan.
