First Year Experience DEFINITION OF FIRST-YEAR First-Year College Success is an interdisciplinary course designed to introduce students to the academic culture, values, and expectations of Holy Family University. For that reason, the framework guiding this experience is the Mission and Core Values of the University. Throughout the first year, students will meet with faculty, staff, and student mentors and engage in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. FEXP 100 is designed to help new students develop personal, academic, and social skills needed to succeed in college and in future endeavors.
