DISABILITY SERVICES FOR STUDENTS
The Disability Services Office facilitates reasonable accommodations for otherwise
qualified students with documented disabilities. Commuter and resident students
with disabilities (physical, learning, psychological, ADHD, etc.) who intend
to seek campus accommodations and/or academic adjustments in accordance with
the Americans
with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and/or Section
504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 should contact this office before
the semester begins. New students should contact the Disability Office as early
as possible before the start of the first semester at Holy Family University
to submit documentation for requested accommodations and to review needs. Late
requests may delay the provision of some accommodations.
Information on guidelines
for documentation, policies, and procedures is available through this office
and is also located in the Counseling Center and Disability Services Resource
Room, in Room 223 of the Campus Center. You may also complete the
Student Information Intake Form and return this directly to our office to
expedite your request for services or inquiry. Requests for information
can also be made through e-mail or the U.S. postal service.
