Services for Faculty and Staff
The Counseling Center does not provide counseling services to Holy Family University faculty, staff or administrators. Legal and ethical guidelines prohibit "dual relationships" and thus it would be inappropriate for Counseling Center staff to provide professional services to colleagues. Counseling Center staff are willing to provide referral resources of broader scope to individuals upon request.  All employees are encouraged to contact Human Resources to discuss mental health benefits that are available.

Included below are two readily available resources a faculty/staff member may wish to access:

The United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania offers "First Call for Help”, a clearinghouse of free resources and referral services for faculty and staff.  Representatives are available M-Fr, 8:30-5:00 pm at 215-568-3750.  Brochures for this service are available in Human Resources, HFH 209 and in the Counseling Center Resource Room, CC 223.

UNUM's Worklife Balance Program offers free phone, face-to-face & online EAP resources for full-time employees and faculty of Holy Family University, with 24 hour access at 800-854-1446 or visit www.lifebalance.net (user ID & password is lifebalance)
