Designed for individuals seeking to advance their two-year Associates degree to a four-year BA degree with Pennsylvania certification in Early Childhood Education. This part-time program provides financial assistance to qualified applicants.

:: Praxis Testing guidelines revised to extend score validity for In-state candidates to 10 years
Effective on May 1, 2008, the Pennsylvania Department of Education has revised the Praxis score validity from five to ten years for candidates educated within the Commonwealth. This pertains to candidates for certification and is applicable to all educators who are currently applying for Pennsylvania Certification. The score must meet the qualifying score in effect on the date the application was received.

All candidates whose teacher preparation program was completed outside Pennsylvania must successfully complete the same tests as candidates prepared in the Commonwealth. All tests must be successfully completed within five years of the date of application for certification, even when the interstate agreement is in effect.
