Dedicated to Service
The Mail department is dedicated to providing the faculty, staff and students with convenient/prompt and cost effective mail services.
Personal Outgoing Mail
The Mail Department is happy to process outgoing packages and mail for students, faculty and staff. Personal standard mail must have proper postage affixed and can be dropped at the mailroom or in the USPS mailbox by the loading dock behind Holy Family Hall. Outgoing mail can also be placed in the box labeled Outgoing Mail in the Stevenson Lane Residence.
If you need to purchase postage or pay for shipping via UPS, please take your items to the mailroom for processing. The mailroom does not accept cash payments. Once your package or mail piece is processed, you will be given a slip to take to The Office of Student Accounts to pay for your items.
Shipping Packages and Overnight Priority Mail
Please use UPS for all outgoing packages and next day deliveries in place of FedEx. The University receives a substantial discount from UPS for packages and overnight delivery services. The discount we receive makes using UPS much more cost effective than FedEx or the US Postal Service. All packages sent via UPS are fully trackable and all levels of priority overnight service that can be had with FedEx are available with UPS.
The discount pricing from UPS is available to all students, staff and faculty for personal items mailed, also. Please contact the Mail Room at ext. 3260 or by email at mailroom@holyfamily.edu and we will be happy to assist you with preparing your package or documents for shipping.
Incoming Student Mail and Packages
Mail is delivered daily to St Joseph Hall and the Stevenson Lane Residence mailboxes.
Students are notified via email when a package arrives. Packages are available for pick up at Holy Family Hall Room 107 during regular hours of operation with a valid University ID.
Departmental Mail
Mail is delivered to the administrative offices beginning about 11:00 am.
All other departmental mail is sorted and available for pick up in the mail room by 11:00 a.m.
Please contact the Mail Room at ext. 3260 if you need to arrange for a special pick up or you are expecting a specific delivery and we will be happy to accommodate your request.
