30 HFU Student-Athletes Named to Fall 2022 CACC All-Academic Teams
30 fall Holy Family University student-athletes were named to the CACC All-Academic Team.
Notably, all five of Holy Family's fall teams were in the top five of their respective sports for total honorees. Women’s cross country ranked second with four, while women’s soccer and men’s soccer were both fourth with 13 and seven, respectively.
To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must:
a) have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term
b) have a minimum of two semesters enrolled as a full-time student at their member institution
c) be a second-year student-athlete at their member institution
Shania Le Maitre ’24 (women’s cross country), Dakota Taylor ’23 (men’s soccer), Sean Touey ’23 (men’s soccer), Gianna Penecale ’23 (women's soccer), Emily Vickalitis ’24 (women’s soccer) and Jacqueline Ziegler ’22 (women’s soccer) all made their third appearance on the CACC All-Academic Team, while Brian Dietz ’22 (men’s cross country) made his second.
