Holocaust Remembrance Day
Let us Remember – Let us Be the Change
Today marks the anniversary of the liberation of those held captive in Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp, in 1945. Holocaust Remembrance Day encourages remembrance of the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust and the millions of other people killed under Nazi persecution and in subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, and Darfur.
In a world still scarred by genocide let us pray for an end to violence against each other. Let our actions and our speech reflect a family that lives and gives witness to a Kingdom of love here on earth.
