Holy Family University to March in the Famed Newtown Holiday Parade

As an anchor institution in Philadelphia and Newtown, Holy Family University will march in the 2023 Newtown Holiday Parade.  This famed annual event brings the community out in force to watch more than 60 organizations and1,800 parade participants.

Holy Family University will have a team of students dressed in their Holy Family finest. But it wouldn't be a parade without Holy Family's mascot, Blue, who will be chauffeured in a white convertible.

We invite the Holy Family University community to find your seat on the parade route on Sunday, December 3, 2-4 p.m.  Holy Family will march earlier in the lineup, so be sure to arrive early!  The parade begins at South State Street at the Stocking Works, continues north to Washington Avenue, then heads to Sycamore Street, ending at the corner of Sycamore Street and Durham Road.
