Holy Family University Participates in 8th Police District National Night Out

On August 3, Director of Student Conduct and Advocacy Sister Marcella Binkowski CSFN and International Student Affairs Assistant Sister Julianna Tran CSFN represented Holy Family University at the 8th Police District National Night Out event.

Sister Marcella and Sister Juliann are members of the 8th Police District Advisory Council, which is led by Officer Patricia Rosatti, and they volunteered at the annual event, which was held at the Philadelphia Police 8th District grounds located on Red Lion Road.

National Night Out is a community-police awareness-raising event held in communities all over the United States. The 8th Police District Advisory Council event featured family entertainment, delicious food samples, snacks, and water ice. Sister Marcella and Sister Juliann passed out free water and snacks along with brochures about Holy Family University.

In addition, Anne Jachinowicz ’21 participated in the entertainment by creating balloon animals, flowers, crowns, and other accessories for children.
