Newtown Hosting Shredding Day and Toy Drive on October 15
State Senator Steve Santarsiero will be holding a Shredding Day for the community in the Newtown parking lot on Saturday, October 15, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Local residents are invited to bring unwanted paper to be shredded and donations of new and unwrapped toy donations for Toys for Tots to Holy Family University's Newtown campus on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
WHAT CAN BE SHREDDED:
Paper, checks, bills, manila folders. Staples and paper clips do not need to be removed.
WHAT CANNOT BE SHREDDED:
Phone books, books, newspapers, or non-paper items.
Limit is (2) file boxes, copy paper boxes, or reusable containers. Paper grocery bags are also acceptable.
This is a free, contactless event. All toy and shredder materials must be in the trunk of the car.
