- Required Biology Master Elective (minimum of 12 credits)
Complete four (4) courses (minimum of 12 credits). Choose from the subjects of Biology, and Chemistry. Choose from the levels of 300 and 400.
- Required Free Electives (minimum of 6 credits)
Complete two (2) courses (minimum of 6 credits) without restriction
Other Requirements
- Successful completion of written and oral components of comprehensive exam and poster presentation
- Continuation in the major requires a GPA of 2.5 in all completed science courses
- At least 9 credits of 300/400 level concentration coursework must be completed within the school.

Other Requirements
Successful completion of written and oral components of comprehensive exam and poster presentation Students enrolled in the Pre-Medical Track are required to maintain a 3.3 cumulative GPA or higher in all coursework since this is the minimum GPA required in order to receive a letter of recommendation from the Pre- Medical Advisory Committee.
Students in the track who have a cumulative GPA less than 3.3 at the end of their junior year will transition to the BA in BIOL program. At least 9 credits of 300/400 level concentration coursework must be completed within the school.
