
Psi Chi: International Honor Society in Psychology
Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology, whose mission is to recognize and promote excellence in the science and application of psychology. Celebrate your outstanding academic accomplishments by becoming a member of Psi Chi!
To be eligible for membership in Holy Family's undergraduate chapter of Psi Chi, you must meet the following requirements (i.e., you cannot apply if you do not meet all of the following criteria):
- You are an undergraduate Psychology or Neuroscience major; OR you have a major in another discipline (e.g., Nursing), but have a minor in: Psychology, Neuroscience, Mental Health Services, Childhood Studies, Applied Behavior Analysis, or Child Life Specialist
- You are at the Junior level or higher in class standing (i.e., you have earned at least 60 credits to date)
- You have at least 12 completed credits in Psychology courses (i.e., 4 courses)
- Your Cumulative GPA is 3.3 or higher
- Your Psychology GPA is 3.5 or higher
Emails are sent to students in February each year to invite students to apply. The Induction Ceremony is typically held in April. If you have questions, please email Dr. Stacy McDonald.

*If you are a transfer student, and have not completed 12 credits (4 courses) in Psychology at Holy Family (or your PSYC GPA is lower than 3.5 for PSYC courses taken at Holy Family), you may use Psychology credits from previous institution(s) to join.
