My name is Sammie Davis (she/her), and I am Director of the Office of Orientation & Academic Success (OAS)! I have my Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from Centenary University, a Master's degree in Counseling with a concentration in Student Affairs from Montclair State University, and a current Doctoral student studying Education & Organizational Leadership at Holy Family University.
I oversee the Office of Orientation & Academic Success (OAS), which is committed to helping students thrive in multiple aspects of college life. At Holy Family, we believe in personalized support tailored to students' needs. Whether through our experiential Orientation Program, the BLUEprint for Student Success courses, First-Gen specialized support events, or the many retention and resource services available, the OAS mission is to empower students to achieve their goals.
I am passionate about working with college students, and supporting students on their exciting journey to degree completion. I am committed to breaking down barriers to student success and developing innovative initiatives designed to enhance all students’ academic journeys.

Welcome Tigers! My name is Kendal (she/they), Assistant Director for the Office of Orientation & Academic Success. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Cedar Crest College, and my Master’s degree in Higher Education from Kent State University.
In my role as Assistant Director my goal is to help people have the best experience at Holy Family possible, starting with Orientation and ending when you graduate! Our office's purpose is to help you persist to graduation through success strategies, academic support programming, and BLUEprint courses. College can be difficult and my intention is to help you be your best self, both as a student and as a person!

Student Athlete Success Coach
My name is Kharon. I have my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from HFU and I am currently getting my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Holy Family University. My role of being a Student Athlete Success Coach entails helping all student athletes with all academic needs. Focusing on things like time management, securing tutoring sessions, and registering for classes. Being a Holy Family alum and former student athlete permits me to connect with these students on a different level. I look forward to working with you in the future. Go Tigers!

Success Coach for the School of Arts & Sciences
Hi, my name is Lillian. I graduated from Penn State with a major in Biobehavioral Health. I am currently a graduate student and Holy Family aiming to achieve my MS in Counseling with a concentration in school counseling. As a student success coach, I will help students in any areas they may need help. I will look to help students with time management, study techniques, goal setting, and much more. My goal is to help you succeed in your academic and social endeavors by eliminating barriers to success!

Success Coach for the School of Nursing and Health Sciences
Hi, my name’s Alec. I graduated from HFU in 2022 with my Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice, and am a current graduate student at HFU within the Counseling Psychology program under the Clinical Mental Health concentration. Part of my role as a Student Success Coach supporting the School of Nursing & Health Sciences is to assist in the stress and time management of students. In my spare time, I like to watch collegiate/USA wrestling trials, read classical literature, and go to Phillies games! I look forward to assisting with any academic obstacles so you can limit any barriers towards your own academic achievement.
