Radiologic Science, BSRS

The Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Science (BSRS) degree is offered to Radiologic Technologists certified and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent. The degree is based on the ARRT Supporting Category requirement and incorporates the Associate of Science in Radiologic Science (ASRS) degree program.

Program Details

Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Science graduates possess the knowledge and skills to assume post-primary practice in medical imaging and/or management. Your education will be broadened and enriched by our University’s General Education curriculum. Radiologic Science courses are designed to be flexible and accommodate the working technologist’s schedule. Concentration didactic courses are completed online and clinical experience rotations are offered. General education courses are offered online (not guaranteed) and in traditional face-to-face settings.

Whether completed as part of the BSRS degree or as a Certificate, post-primary tracks are designed for the graduate to satisfy ARRT Structured Education Requirements and establish eligibility to take the ARRT examination in their modality of choice. 

Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Science Program (for ARRT-certified radiographers or equivalent only) options include:

• General Track
• Post-Primary Certification Eligibility Tracks (also available as Certificate programs)
  • Vascular Interventional (VI)
  • Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Magnetic Resonance (MR)

Clinical education placements arranged by the program require approved clinical affiliate agreements.
