Position Summary

The School of Business and Technology at Holy Family University is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to teach business law courses in a face-to-face or online asynchronous classroom environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business law and a passion for engaging and inspiring students.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Teaching of courses in business law
  • Conduct face to face classroom instruction following the University’s academic standards and guidelines
  • Facilitate active learning experiences and practical exercises to enhance student comprehension and application of business law concepts
  • Providing grades and feedback to students in a timely fashion
  • Using the Learning Management System (CANVAS) appropriately for all classes
  • Utilizing advising software (CRM Advise) to alert student issues to support offices within the university

Qualifications

  • MBA or JD. Doctoral degree preferred
  • Professional experience in the field of Law and/or relevant certifications
  • Previous teaching experience at a college or university level is highly desirable
